The Burghauptmannschaft Österreich (BHÖ), a subordinate agency of the Federal Ministry for Digitization and Business Location (Bundesministerium für Digitalisierung und Wirtschaftsstandort, BMDW), is in charge of the sustainable preservation of Austria's cultural heritage. Among the most well-known properties under the administration of the Burghauptmannschaft Österreich are the Hofburg Vienna, the Hofburg Innsbruck, the Belvedere Palace and the Schönbrunn Palace. Other objects are the ministerial building on the Stubenring as well as Ambras Castle and the former concentration camp Mauthausen.
